JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Tech Lead, you will oversee the design, development, and deployment of robust applications using the .NET framework. You will be responsible for guiding a team of developers, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and deployment, while leveraging Azure technologies to enhance application performance and scalability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design and development of applications using C# and .NET Core with MVC architecture.
  • Architect solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business requirements.
  • Implement and manage data access layers using Entity Framework, ensuring efficient data manipulation.
  • Develop and maintain Azure SQL databases, focusing on indexing, triggers, and stored procedures for optimal performance.
  • Utilize Azure services, including Azure Functions and Azure Data Factory, for data processing and automation tasks.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for seamless application deployment.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, fostering skill development and career growth.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
  • Facilitate architectural discussions and contribute to strategic decision-making for system design.
  • Engage in stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance application efficiency and reliability.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in .NET development and Azure services, and share insights with the team.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables by implementing and advocating for testing best practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in C# programming language and extensive experience with .NET Core and MVC framework.
  • Expertise in Entity Framework and best practices for data access.
  • Strong skills in LINQ query development and optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure SQL databases, including indexing strategies, triggers, and stored procedures.
  • Experience with Azure services (Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory) and proficiency in Azure DevOps for CI/CD practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing development teams and guiding technical discussions.
  • Ability to work with multiple databases and ensure optimal performance across different environments.
  • Proficient in front-end technologies including jQuery and JavaScript.
  • Strong debugging skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Basic knowledge of Azure Active Directory and its integration with .NET applications.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API development is a plus.
  • A proactive mindset toward learning new technologies and continuously improving development processes.
